The XP is pretty complicated and everything counts like buffs and heals, and debuffs, but how it all adds up is way beyond what i can figure out with out trying to map every single move in a round. they get knocked down and then on the next move they are raised and don't skip a beat. for instance it can be better to have a person with 1 HP not get healed, take the chance to trigger a dodge, it fails. I don't know if being knocked down but not missing a turn effects XP. Being down with a counter means they can miss turns and that means they will do less as they are missing turns which means less XP. I think being knocked out of the rounds completely is worse than just knocked out with the timer ticking on the floor. Unless you just use some character very wrong and get them knocked out of the fight and are not even an option to use by the end in every single time then i think you will most likely be ok.Īlso, try not to let people get knocked out of the fight, meaning you end the battle with every person being upright. It also even's out in the end if you watch which characters get more XP. (the point being there is plenty of XP to get everyone to 10 by the end of the game). Go figure.Well i just hit chap 8 this play and everyone is lvl 10 and i still have a ways to go.
